Drove from Houston to try this place out. Food was so good! Definitely met my expectations. The girls were so nice!

Talk about walking back in time! The only thing missing is a jukebox! This small Restaurant pumps out the food and dang is it good. Great burgers, hand made onion and fry's rings were perfect and you'll look twice at the price when is the last time ya got a Hugh burger for less than $6 bucks oh and don't miss the Homemade Root Beer served in a Frozen Mug! I had been wanting to to go, finally made it. Worth the trip!

This restaurant is a Dallas classic. Burgers are always good. Consistency and history. Love this place!

Great local place. The burgers are delicious. The rootbeer floats are amazing!! I highly recommend their root beer floats in frosted Mug.

The corn dogs are hand dipped & delicious. I'd put it up against a Fletcher's any day of the week. The root beer comes from their own recipe, so what's not to love??

Cool throwback drive-in with killer homemade root beer. Service is quick and friendly, as is the food. Burgers are a nice thin patty, good but not something to rave about. Fries are always a little soggy for my taste but some like them that way. Great neighborhood spot, check them out!

This is a hidden gem for most. Fantastic old school burgers. Walk inside and time travel back to the 70's with cheap delicious food and homemade root beer. One of the best burgers in Dallas. Fries Onion Rings and Tots are all great. Can customize your burger anyway you want. The staff is super friendly and efficient. What's great ambiance as well with it feeling like an old school diner.

5 Stars Just Because: 1. In continuous operation since 1956 2. I never feasted here until today and it was delicious 3. To my knowledge is the only remaining "hamburger stand" of this type left in Dallas 4. Great service 5. This is a big one, Frosted Mug of Root Beer while it's 100 outside!!!! Dairy-ette is all at once an enigma, paradox and sanctuary rolled into one. Off Ferguson Rd in eastern Dallas this place was sitting here when my parents brought me to see my grandmother who lived down the street. However,I knew not of it's existence, until decades later when I was driving to her house myself. A great question is,why haven't you eaten here before? You say even as a Yelp Elite having book marked it years ago you..still didn't? Simply I don't know. What I do know is this place has been in almost the same state of operation for 67 years. In the meantime, I've seen 2 major shopping malls, countless office buildings and some residential streets built and demolished. Go figure. The more things change the more they stay the same. However, fair warning,I have a feeling this endangered species,a living museum seemingly stuck in an episode of Twilight Zone,is going going... You better...Go

I've been a customer since 1963 A throwback to the 1950's drive in burger joint with car hops. It remains unchanged and eating great food in your car is a must experience. Try the homemade root beer. Bryan Adams HS and Bishop Lynch alumni know it well.
